Idea to send:	Topic Mental Health Content Allocate resources to develop a national model for provisions of services for combat veterans. In our state, many combat veterans are returning home from conflicts overseas and are experiencing significant mental health and substance abuse challenges. The VA system is there for some but others need services of our state's community mental health networks and other supporting agencies and systems. If adequate services remain unfunded and uncoordinated, our country will fail to learn the lessons of the 60's and 70's and allow a new generation of American veterans to do without the support needed to recover.
