Content | Eliminate all corporate taxes. Oklahoma collected $173 million in corporate and franchise taxes last year. The corporate tax is an indirect tax on the people of Oklahoma. It is paid for by the consumer through higher prices for goods and services, by the laborer who has fewer job opportunities and a smaller paycheck, and the shareholder who earns less from investing. The corporate tax costs Oklahoma $173 million in lost jobs, wages, and higher prices for goods and services. It also hurts our economic growth potential. |
