Idea to send:	Topic Prisons Content I have read that approximately 60% of Oklahoma prisoners are incarcerated for drug convictions. Why are we not spending corrections money on rehabilitation for these prisoners? One has to believe that a portion of these prisoners would rather be educated about a better way of life and learn a trade to pursue once they are released. Yes, the cost initially would be a bit more, but the savings in early releases for those who complete the program and in reduced recidivism would create a savings in the long term. And think of the difference in lives affected!
