Idea to send:	Topic Livestock waste to energy Content I'd like to see the state encourage, coax, or otherwise mandate commercial livestock operations to use the concentration of fecal material for electric cogeneration. Whether the waste is from pork or beef, it is a significant resource for methane gas which can be used to create electrical power from generators. This power can be used at the commercial livestock operation which may be able to have enough wattage leftover to place back into the grid. Many states are utilizing technology to take advantage of this resource and to prevent polluting the water table.
